Project Plaid
Supporting Our Children's Mental Health
Project Plaid is a meaningful initiative born from personal loss and a desire to create change. It was founded by Shanta Durocher in memory of her daughter, Amelia, whose suicide deeply impacted her family and community. What started as a way to cope with grief quickly grew into a movement that connects individuals and raises awareness about mental health struggles.

Amelia’s personal battle with mental health challenges and her tragic death served as a catalyst for Project Plaid. Her story highlights the urgent need for accessible mental health resources and the critical role that community support plays in preventing similar tragedies.

Casa Toscana Fine Foods & Cucina in Grimsby is the Niagara’s most unique eatery and fine food Store in the Region. During November, they will donate $1 from every Zozzona pasta dish sold. Reservations recommended. Support those who support us.
Canada Post
Donations
Canada Post offices across Niagara will be participating in various ways throughout November. Donations can be made at any office + select offices doing sales of plaid merchandise. On November 29th employees will be wearing plaid and join in on the conversation.
