Pathstone Mental Health recognizes the importance of privacy and the sensitivity of personal health information. Pathstone Mental Health has developed the Privacy Policy in accordance with PHIPA legislation to ensure that the personal health information of our clients is safeguarded and that clients and their families are made fully aware of our information practices. PHIPA Legislation requires staff to adhere to each and every facet of the legislation. In addition, individual colleges which cover a number of Pathstone staff direct their members to fully comply with PHIPA and all other relevant legislation. This means strict compliance to all rules under PHIPA are followed, when collecting, using, or disclosing PHI.
