How long is the wait list?
Due to the high demand for services at Pathstone Mental Health, there are waiting lists for some of our programs. No. These services are available to support our children and youth up to the age of 18 regardless of whether you are a registered client of Pathstone Mental Health.
What if I think the wrong program has been selected for me?
Your program selection is based on a collaborative conversation with you and Pathstone Mental Health during the intake interview. We recommend you attend at least one session of the program you have been placed in. If after your first session you still believe the program is not a right fit for you/your family, you should discuss this with the clinician or manager of the program so they can support you in next steps and discussing alternatives.
What should I expect my commitment to service to be?
We know that family support increases the potential of positive outcomes for you/your child/youth. You should be prepared to attend all sessions where required, and “practice” the skills/strategies at home learned through treatment. You should also commit to providing the most up-to-date and relevant information. We know that sometimes sharing can be scary and we will work to build relationships with you so that you can trust us and feel comfortable in sharing any details that may be significant to supporting you/your child/youth through treatment.
What happens if I cannot attend my appointment?
We know life happens and sometimes it is not possible to attend an appointment. We ask that if you need to cancel an appointment you provide us with at least 24-hour notice.
If I have a concern or complaint, who do I speak to?
Please fill out and submit a complaint & resolution form and we will reach out to you regarding any concerns/questions you might have.
If I would like to re-evaluate my or my child/youth’s treatment plan, who do I speak to?
Please fill out and submit a treatment re-evaluation form with any questions and/or concerns you might have about your or your child/youth’s current course of treatment.
