Social Worker – Registered Therapist 2 – Partnership

Position Summary

Partnership provides individual and family therapy for clients aged 6–18 addressing a broad range of mental health issues through outpatient services offered in person or virtually. Therapists collaborate with children, youth, and their families to identify goals and use evidence-based or evidence-informed treatment modalities, such as CBT and DBT, to support positive outcomes. They may also involve specialized consultants—including child and adolescent psychiatrists, pediatricians, or psychologists—and liaise with education providers and other professionals to develop interventions across home, school, and community settings. Working within the CAPA (Choice and Partnership Approach) model, the Social Worker/Registered Therapist will deliver evidence based/evidence informed interventions for both Choice and Partnership appointments.

Qualifications

• M.S.W., M.A. or relevant discipline
• Registered as a Social Worker with the College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers or Registered with the College of Psychotherapists;
• 2 years clinical experience
• Experience and / or training in evidence-based therapeutic interventions in assessments, individual, family and group therapy, and brief solution focused treatment;
• Bilingual in (French and English) is preferred;
• Experience working with the Indigenous population is an asset;
• Good communication and organizational skills;
• A current Police Records Check within the last six (6) months;
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, able to supply own vehicle, and be insurable to drive in Ontario
