POSITION SUMMARY
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for supporting employees through their employment Life Cycle, assisting with recruitment cycle, file management, assisting with staffing needs, special projects and providing support to the Human Resources Manager. If you are a recent graduate or in the midst of a career change looking for a dynamic opportunity to have hands on experience in many facets of HR, then you are invited to apply for this position.
This position will also support the Payroll and Scheduling Coordinator by providing on call coverage back fill for staffing needs in various programs as part of their regular duties on Thursdays and Fridays between the hours of 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. This position reports directly to the Human Resources Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS

- Working within a collaborative consensus decision-making workplace;
- 1-2 years of human resources administration experience;
- University degree or college diploma in Human Resources, business or related field required;
- Certified Human Resource Professional designation required;
- Experience with recruitment, employee life cycle, benefits administration, employee inquiries;
- Familiarity with children’s mental health programs, relevant legislation and regulations;
- Knowledge of federal and provincial employment and health and safety regulations and other relevant legislation;
- Knowledgeable and highly proficient in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with HR databases, HRIS and applicant tracking systems
- Professional, self-motivated, well-organized and very detail-oriented with the flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple ongoing tasks
- Strong commitment to customer service orientation;
- Personal integrity and ability to work with confidential information;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Current Police Records Check within the last six (6) months prior to hire;
- Bilingual in (French and English) is preferred;
- Valid Ontario driver’s license, able to supply own vehicle, and be insurable to drive in Ontario;
