Pathstone Mental Health is Niagara’s primary provider of treatment for children until their 18th birthday. Pathstone provides services to more than 10,000 children and youth each year and to over 1,500 parents, guardians and adults.

Human Resources Coordinator

1 Full-Time Permanent position | 35 Hours per week | This is a non-unionized position | $41,816 – $51,905 Annually

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for supporting employees through their employment lifecycle, assisting with recruitment cycle, file management, assisting with staffing needs, and providing support to the Human Resources Manager. This position will be responsible for covering the Payroll and Scheduling Coordinator during vacation/sick leave will also be responsible for coordinating the backfill for staffing needs in various programs two days/week. This position is a resource to the Management team and reports directly to the Human Resources Manager.

  • 1-2 years of human resources administration experience;
  • University degree or college diploma in Human Resources, business or related field required;
  • Certified Human Resource Professional designation required;
  • Experience with recruitment, employee life cycle, benefits administration, employee inquiries;
  • Familiarity with children’s mental health programs, relevant legislation and regulations;
  • Knowledge of federal and provincial employment and health and safety regulations and other relevant legislation;
  • Knowledgeable and highly proficient in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with HR databases, HRIS and applicant tracking systems
  • Professional, self-motivated, well-organized and very detail-oriented with the flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple ongoing tasks
  • Strong commitment to customer service orientation;
  • Personal integrity and ability to work with confidential information;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Current Police Records Check within the last six (6) months prior to hire;
  • Bilingual in (French and English) is preferred;
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license, able to supply own vehicle, and be insurable to drive in Ontario;
