JOB RATE

$78,278 – $98,293 Annually

JOB SUMMARY

The Clinical Manager is responsible for ensuring that current services are operated and new services are developed within organizational Policies and Practices, Core Values and Service Principles. The Clinical Manager has direct supervisory responsibility for the staff in their clinical program. The successful incumbent will be responsible for overseeing Outreach, MITT and FPP programs. Program assignments may change based on operational needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Requires registration as a Psychotherapist or Social Worker and have the recognized ability to use the title Psychotherapist by the College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers;
  • MSW/MA or equivalent preferred.

  • At least five years of progressive management experience, preferably in a social services/children’s services setting
  • Experience managing clinical programs, with responsibility for programming and staff supervision
  • Knowledge and strong understanding of evidence-based practices, and demonstrated ability in applying those practices within a therapeutic setting
  • Knowledge and understanding of standardized assessment tools, child development and child management techniques
  • Excellent organization, time management, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with children’s mental health programs, Complex Special Needs services/funding, CYFSA, residential licensing, and all relevant legislation and regulations
  • Strong commitment to customer service orientation
  • Experience in building a culture supportive of continuous learning and improvement
  • Skills in building strong teams and promoting teamwork and a demonstrated ability to manage conflict and build consensus.
  • Proven ability to develop solutions to complex issues
  • Entrepreneurial skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A current Vulnerable Sector Police Records Check within the last six (6) months
  • Bilingual in (French and English) is preferred
  • Experience working with the Indigenous population is an asset
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license able to supply own vehicle, and be insurable to drive in Ontario
  • Demonstrated ability to use a variety of computer software to generate and exchange information
